Tehran University & University of Massachusetts
Amir Azadi is a post-doctoral fellow in David Nelson's group in the Department of Physics at Harvard University. His research currently focuses on statistical physics of fluctuating membranes as part of an MRSEC IRG 1 project. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with Greg Grason working on the geometry and mechanics of topological defects in frustrated ordered assemblies. Azadi received his M.S. and B.S. from Tehran University where he studied gravitational physics and modified gravity.
